Correva il mese di giugno 1971 quando i Queen tennero il loro primo concerto nel Surray. 1972 sono invitati a collaudare l'attrezzatura dei rinnovati DeLane Lea Studios di Wembley e hanno la possibilità di registrare il primo demo, contenente Liar, The Night Comes Down, See What A FooI l've Been (che rimarrà inedito) e Stone Cold Crazy.Nel marzo 1973 i Queen firmano il primo contratto ufficiale con la EMI e Il 6 luglio 1973 viene pubblicato il primo singolo dei Queen, Keep Yourseff Alive/Son And Daughter. Hanno all'attivo circa 25 album compresi alcune raccolte.
