if i try took a step back to see where we have come, i'd find out its not that far, i always thought we were fine until now. i know that i was wrong. that things are falling apart and now it seems like you don't even care. i know this can't be true, but now it seems like you aren't even there. i can see you'e slippin' away from me, and i'm slippin' from you. i guess that i can go on and attempt to just forget. i drink another beer, so i can drown my fear. but that just makes things worse, and that's my only true companion when all these things, pile on at once. i can see you're slippin' away from me, and i'm slippin' from you.
